Being a part of Chippendales was in a way a fluke;
Jace was visiting Las Vegas and dancing in a club.
A talent scout saw him and mentioned that they were auditioning in a couple of days.
So was a lead Chippendale created!
The two dogs that he is the proud owner of are two wonderful Shiba Inu dogs.
One named Nitro who is an amazingly beautiful two year old male and then
there is the gorgeous Ice who is the female and will be turning two soon.
How did they come into your life? Well I got Nitro at the Indoor Swap Meet;
he was really sickly with a green discharge coming from his nose.
He was not really active was very listless.
I was also injured, on workman’s comp and my heart just went out to this dog.
I thought what better way to give back than to take this beautiful animal home,
and bring him back to health and give him a good home.
As for Ice, when I started going back to work I thought Nitro might be lonely,
so one day I was looking for toys for Nitro and in the pet store there was a
gorgeous cream colored Shiba Inu and something about her was special.
At first I resisted the urge but now she is part of the family!
How much part of your life are they now?
I find it hard to leave my house now that they are with me.
Every chance I have, I bring them to work with me here.
They will sit up in the dressing room while I rehearse.
Sitting and talking with Jace revealed a very caring and compassionate dog owner,
and yes they do sleep with him! Also watch your socks around Ice,
she will take them and hide them in her “special” space in the backyard!
But seriously he would like every dog owner to spay and neuter their pets,
and with 20/20 hindsight should he decide to bring another dog into his life,
it will be a rescue! He plans to work with the Shiba Inu rescue here in Las Vegas.

How much part of your life are they now?
June 08, 2009:
Last night in the show Jace broke his forearm in 3 places dancing 150% for all the beautiful ladies.
There was a miscommunication and he slammed his forearm into the back of one of the other cast members heads...
now waiting to see if he needs to have surgery.
